Trump's Gift to American Socialists (part II)

Trump's Gift to American Socialists

About 12 years ago—in 2014—I wrote this sentence for my book: “Initially, I wanted to find evidence that would allow me to consider the possibility of socialism in the U.S., but frankly, it seemed like a chimera… …a new group would be created with the capacity to blackmail, excuse me, to negotiate quotas, with whom power would have to be shared. …There doesn't seem to be the slightest danger of 21st-century socialism emerging in the U.S.… perhaps it could be 21 ¾, 21 ½, 22…”.

It's obvious I was wrong, because not only did it emerge much earlier, but they aren't looking for quotas or to share power; they want power, and everything points to them getting it—starting this November…− The worrying thing is that if the Democrats win a predictable Presidency of the country, it will come with a huge gift. By the way, will the alternation of power end with Trump?

The current issue is Trump's lucrative deal with Venezuelan oil, and although on this matter there are many well-versed experts talking about the current and future illegality of this agreement, it seems to me—admitting my complete ignorance—that if they decided to formalize it, it's because they have it armored –figuratively and literally−. Therefore, it will be a privilege that the US government will enjoy for many years and beyond…

It's worth clarifying that I agree that our main partner in all aspects should be the US —as long as they are the "American Great"— and if the price to pay for the favors "received" and "yet to be received" is having prerogatives over our oil, I consider it a fair price.

I also agree that the risk of Venezuela becoming ungovernable after premature elections that lead to a change of government is excessively high in the short and medium term, since this new government would have neither Armed Forces nor State Security Forces, nor even «allied» political forces, in which to trust, and thus be able to govern. The US is not going to wait for everything to be resolved before take over the Venezuelan oil, so it is understandable, even if that's not pleasant, that Trump, "thinking of the benefits for his country," opt to agree to this cession negotiation through negotiation with the Venezuelan interim government, rather than with a fuuuture, newly elected government, which is far less susceptible to blackmail and one that will actually be concerned and take action of the country's domestic problems.

The problem is that the current situation with Venezuela is so incredibly beneficial to Trump that the temptation greed -so

great, in fact, that it mutates- to maintain it until the end of his terms is excessively high. Another detail to keep in mind is that if they haven't been able to overcome socialism in their own country, it seems naive to think that they can take on a Regime that is more seasoned and has decades of head start in these battles.

But let's return to the gift. If, in the end, this agreement, capitulation, concession, it ends up becoming a reality. -in practice, not just rhetoric-, thanks to Trump and for the benefit of the US, this will undoubtedly be exploited by the socialists when they come to power, unless, of course, the SUSTAINABILITY of the MAGA Project has been a fundamental part of the design and it doesn't end up being the MAGAM "Meanwhile," as we speculated in the previous article.

In the event that the socialists are in power and MAGA has not taken the necessary precautions -also armored- they will then have all of Venezuela's oil at their disposal to promote more Chavismo -I mean, more socialism- throughout the U.S. and beyond.

But believe it or not, if the real project conceived by Trump is MAGAM, he'll still be remembered as a hero by the MAGA movement for life, one who should even have a place on Mount Rushmore, because the prevailing narrative that will be created is that Trump made the Venezuelan oil business project possible to benefit Americans, and their Socialists are the ones who are destroying it.

Surely at this point many will be wondering, and probably quite angry, how this can be possible, after everything Trump has done to recover the values of the Great Nation that the United States once was, the Democrats communist could come to power, how is it that he has a plan that contemplates this as a given, and how is it that, knowing this, he only opted to take advantage of the future situation to look good for history.

The answer to the last question would perhaps be "ego" since the President has shown - or at least made it seem so- that his ego is his Achilles' Heel. Although I would believe, and this would answer the other two questions, that it is more due to his wisdom, which leads him makes him certain that THE PEOPLE "that is to say, the vote" will never cease to be socialist. And right now, we are sadly witnessing proof of this: 11 out of 12 randomly selected people, who have passed through "impartiality" filters, recusal processes, and impugnment, have concluded, without the slightest doubt in their hearts guts, that lindsay clancy is not guilty of murdering her three children in cold blood.

Forgive the necessary digression. Now then if, as we speculate, Trump's goal is to make America great again, but only while he's in power, then the socialists will surely do whatever they please with the gift or legacy he left them. And we'll owe it all to Donald.

P.S. By the way, to those who criticized Maria Corina for having—and showing—her reservations about Trump, let me tell you that once again she's been right.

P.P:S. And perhaps Karoline was the first to realize this… because Rubio doesn't seem to.

P.P.P.S. After everything we’ve been through in Venezuela, if Jesus were to descend from the heavens tomorrow, I’d be overjoyed; but if He were to say, "Now Venezuela is finally going to get out of this mess," the first thing that would cross my mind is: "Here we go, we’re about to get screwed again."

Note: Everything written here is mere speculation, just rambling reflections from an idle mind. Any resemblance to reality is purely fantastical.
